What are 3 marketing assets you need to have?
As the digital world continues to evolve and change at a rapid pace, ensuring you have a marketing strategy that is both effective and up to date is vital. There are 3 marketing assets important for every small business. Read the insights below.
If you’re concerned about sales or cash flow in your business at the moment, then chances are you may not have enough good marketing assets set up in your business.
I heard someone say once that there’s no such thing as a cashflow problem, it comes down to a marketing problem, and I think there’s some truth to that. So, what are marketing assets?
Well, marketing assets are things that drive business to you, drive customers to you without you having to be there all the time. I believe there are three key marketing assets every business should have.
1. A great audience on social media: either Instagram, Facebook, or if you’re B2B, LinkedIn. Look, in 2020, if you’re not on social media, you need to get on there ASAP and start building your audience.
2. A website focused on two things: traffic and conversion. Making sure your website attracts a lot of traffic to it, and you’re converting that traffic either into customers or into a mailing list. Which then leads into number three!
3. Building a customer database. So building an email list that you can nurture over time by providing valuable content. That means communicating via email with your audience/email list that provides them with value.
They’re three key marketing assets that I believe every business needs to have. If you don’t have those, it’d be a great idea to start building a marketing strategy that helps capture leads online and turn them into pay customers or clients.
